Data Practices Act, Medicare/Medicaid), Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery, Security and IT Strategy, IT Audit, Application Security Consulting, Network Security, System and Web server security, Intrusion Detection/Prevention.  Participated and ran in technology and security governance, and statewide initiatives.  Deployed industry standard practices including those in the COBIT framework, NIST standards and OCTAVE audit framework.  Initiated and built consensus for enterprise BCP program. Created enterprise SDLC program to assure security involvement in projects.  Initiated and lead adoption of use of personally owned computers and mobile devices.

Coached and facilitated projects for the team responsible for the architecture, engineering, operation and security of all core and auxiliary systems for a major national Internet Service Provider.  Had responsibility for the Firewall Engineering group that managed a number of firewall products using CheckPoint FireWall-1 on Sun and Nokia platforms.  Designed, developed and delivered training.  Managed an organization in three geographic locations. Primary technologies included FreeBSD, Solaris, Linux, Windows, CheckPoint, Cisco, Juniper.

Responsible for the creation, operation, and security of a 24X7 Network Operations Center and team for a multi-state Internet Service Provider.  Responsible for all aspects Unix network management, monitoring and security.  Coached and led a team of ten technicians. Worked with wireless technologies, including Hybrid wireless cable modems. Also worked with Linux, Solaris, SunOS, FreeBSD systems and CheckPoint FireWall-1.
