Offensive and Defensive skills
rules review
The structure of the practice will be (approx.):

Moving Goal - Two equal teams. Select two players to become the "moving goal".  These players take the ends of a rope or beach towel and stretch it out as they move around the space. The other players play a game trying to score in the moving goal.
Coaching Points: Players should look at the ball during shooting motion.  Strike the ball with the instep (laces) with toe pointing down and ankle
locked. This will give the players a firm hitting surface. Hips should face the goal.
var 1) Add two balls.
var 2) Add a second goal. With more goals, players will get more shooting chances and must play with their eyes off the ball. This will present more complex decision making.

Possession Keep-Away - split field into 2 zones and players into 2 teams (one in each zone).  Yellow starts with the ball and plays keep-away in their zone.  Only half the red players may enter the yellow zone.  If red steals they bring the ball back to their zone and only half the yellow players may follow.

3v3 pass and shoot, with GK - 3 lines, 1 GK.  1st player from each line goes to D, next player is O.  Play just like throw-in game.   After score or steal, D goes to end of lines and O goes to D.

World Cup - 2v2v2v...  First team to score gets to rest, next..., etc.

3 Goals - Start with two teams of equal number. Each team has 3 goals to defend and attack. Each team has one keeper who must defend all 3 goals. Play regular soccer rules.  Attacking team should try to change the point of attack away from the keeper, then proceed to get a quick shot off.  Defending team must try to force the attackers in one direction so their keeper knows which goal to defend.

optional scrimmage with other team
