The structure of the practice will be (approx.):
Quick
Shot and Give and Go - two lines behind the 18 yd line. One coach
on each side of penalty area. (for Give and Go: Player first passes
to coach) Coach executes centering pass and player shoots directly
from the pass (no dribbling). Retrieve ball and go to other line.
Rotate players to the coach position so they make the 1-touch pass.
Up
the side, Center pass, Shoot - two lines near midfield, cones diagonally
toward corner. From each line: 1st player dribbles up the side, 2nd
player breaks to center. When 1st player clears the last cone, center
pass to 2nd player, who shoots as quickly as possible. Retrieve ball
and go to end of other line.
One
on One - four lines total, 2 across from each other. 2 lines
are offense, 2 are defense. Each child in the defender lines has
a ball.
Go - the defender passes to the offense. Then the offence tries
to dribble past the defense. When O has dribbled to the D cone the
playes go to the end of the other line.
tips: 1) reminders from last time.
2) offense, watch the defender's body. Dribble straight at the
defender. When they stab at the ball try to dribble behind them.
3) defense, watch the ball. Don't go for fakes. Try to
stay between the O and your goal. Be a pest.
Keep Away -
Two teams of 3 in a 5 yd square. One team does a throw in and dribbles
and passes to keep possession of the ball while the other team tries
to steal. If stolen, try to keep-away. If the ball goes out of bounds,
throw-in and continue.

Goal Keeping
-
Drill
1 - each child will stand opposite a partner, with one ball for each pair
of players. The first player will roll the ball to the second, and
that player will practice scooping the ball and bringing it into the body.
Then player 2 will roll the ball to player 1.
Drill 2 - same as drill one, except each player will be on their knees
and we will practice diving to save the ball using a pendulum roll.
The key is to roll on the side of the body on the rib cage, and not on
the front or the back. The arm closest to the ground should be extended
so the player doesn't land on the elbow.
Drill 3 - same as drill two, except each player will be standing and we
will practice diving to save the ball by squating and staying low.
The key is to land and roll on the side of the body on the rib cage, and
not on the front or the back. The arm closest to the ground should
be extended so the player doesn't land on the elbow.
2-on-1 pass and shoot,
with GK - one line at the sideline with a bunch of balls(throw-ins),
one line facing the goal(forwards), one line to the side of the goal (GKs),
and one line to the side, half-way between the goal and the forwards (defense).
The players are equally distributed among the lines.
Go - the first child at the sideline does a throw-in to the other forward.
They then start moving toward the goal dribbling the ball. Work the
ball, and then shoot (remember to choose, and try to hit, a target).
There will be 1 defensive player (from the defense line) who will try to
intercept the pass and kick it past the attacking players, and a Goal Keeper.
Each player shifts to the end of the next line.

15 min.
(or whatever works) 7 vs. 7 game, goal keeper (or scrimmage with another
