Together! a. light jog there and back b. leg lift, step, step, step c. inside hip circle, step, step, step d. outside hip circle, step, step, step e. carioka f. lunges g. side lunges h. sprint 2. stretching circle Patterns **3 Across the Top - 3v0 patterns 1. straight - 2 wing, 1 center near midfield, center w/ ball, offsides line w/ cones. go - Center sends 1 wing, other wing makes far post run, 1st wing centers. Must stay onside! Coaching points as above. 2. basic weave - 3 at midfield, center w/ ball. center sends wing and leads w/ short pass. center overlaps that wing and receives pass down the line. Center continues and looks to cross to wings making post runs. Coaching points: communication between wings on runs, 3rd player timing run. 3. V - 2 wings near midfield, center near offside line, back to goal, wings w/ balls. Go - wing pass give-and-go with center. center curls away and makes post run. wing can then shoot, or cross to center or far wing. Add: sometimes when center receives first pass wing calls "turn" - center turns and shoots. Coaching points: accurate passing, preparation of receiving surface, move away from (pretend) pressure, solid 1 or 2 touch shots, shot selection **scrimmage **cool down
