Get a total of 500 touches between the two players, should take less than 5 min. **2v0 (diagonal ball) - 2 lines at midfield, coach in goal (to retrieve ball), 1 cone on each touchline 10yd behind the midline and 1 cone on each of the close corners. Go - 1st 2 players pass ball at least twice and then score. Shot must be from outside penalty area. If score then players return to line. If shot misses players must sprint, touch side cone, sprint, touch touchline cone, return to line. Coaching points: control ball, eyes on ball, body/head over ball, ankle locked, solid contact, follow through, accuracy over power **2v0 cross (crossed ball from side) - 2 lines outside penalty area, 1 keeper, 1 crosser (either can be coach). Go - first player from each line sprints to goal (center and far post), as cross comes they try to score. Return to opposite line. Switch crosses to other side. Coaching points: control ball, eyes on ball, turn hips, head down, strike center of ball, accuracy over power **1v1 (straight ball approaching) - 1 line (D) next to goal, 1 line diagonally across, outside penalty area, 1 keeper or coach in goal. Go - D passes to attacker who tries to score as quickly as possible. Go to other line. Coaching points: control ball, close last dribble, body/head over ball, quick shot, accuracy over power **3v2 attack (diagonal and side cross) - 1 D line on each side of goal, 3 attack lines near midfield, 1 keeper. Play as in the previous drill. Coaching points: solid pass, controlled 1st touch, quick shot, far post, accuracy over power **6v6+K full field scrimmage, or half-field to pugg goals coaching points: have fun, communicate, move **speed goals (straight ball moving away) - 2 lines at midfield, every player with a ball. Go - first 2 players race toward ball with goal. First to score gets to rest. Continue. Coaching points: speed with control, don't lose last dribble, quick shot in range, solid strike, accuracy over power **PK contest (static) - score in outer 1 yd marked by corner flag. Coaching points: choose target then eyes on ball, short approach, even plant foot, solid strike, follow through, accuracy over power
