Warm-up moves: 1. inside/inside 2. inside/outside 3. outside/inside 4. laces 5. laces tap-tap 6. Toe touches moving forward alternating feet 7. Toe touches moving backwards alternating feet. 8. Side hop rolls moving forward, first right foot then back with left. 9. Outside foot touches with "fast feet" between touches. 10. Side hop rolls moving forward, first right foot then back with left. 11. Outside foot touches with "fast feet" between touches. 12. Speed Changes with sudden stop, ("Hop-stop" or Magic Hop) 13. Outside to inside roll right foot across body, touch forward with left foot. 14. Inside to outside roll right foot out to the (right) side, touch forward with right foot. **Passing warm-up - short, short, long Players in groups of 3. pass - short, short, long. Player making the run must recognize when and where to go. Coaching points: communication, use of space, pace and placement of pass, good trap, set up the long pass with the short passes (short pass to loosen D) **3v1 corners 10x10 grid, 3 attackers, each at a corner, 1 D. Attackers can only move or pass along the edges to the cones. D may move anywhere within the square. If D gets the ball, switch with last player to touch ball. Coaching points: heads up!, decision making, pace of pass, clean receive, keep the D running **5v2 to pugg goals 30x20, 5v2. The 5 must complete 4 passes before scoring (in either goal). D may score immediately upon getting the ball. 2 min games. either play 2 grids simultaneously or switch teams. Coaching Points: heads up!, accuracy and pace of passes (fast enough to not get intercepted but appropriate for reception), trap away from pressure, communicate, support by players w/out ball (2 or more options), decision making ** if time - 7v7 scrimmage full field or to pugg goals coaching points: heads up!, decision making, communication, appropriate pass, receive ball away from pressure
